When you say Rap Metal to most people, they’ll chuckle and bring up some anecdote about Limp Bizkit, which is fair enough – most folk think it died out in the late nineties. But as the ashes settle on one iteration, a fire blazes in the latest which takes form in a five pieces from 45 miles NorthEast of London – Hacktivist. With social statements and political intent, this band don’t just make you sit up and take notice, they’re looking to make a change through their powerful lyricism and heavy-as-f**k, in your face metal.
