Melodic metal instrumentalists Toska kicked things up a gear in Glasgow where they played their riff-heavy EP ‘Ode to the Author’ in full. With the crowd gathering close to the stage in anticipation the trio of man-mountain Rabea Massaad on guitar, bassist Dave Hollingworth and drummer Ben Minal burst into life and hold the crowd in their hands for the entirety of their half hour set – which seems the flash by in an instant.
