Thursday’s Blackwork release show heralded more than a few firsts for me – one of which was viewing Misguided Anchors. A heavy and melodic, post-modern metal outfit with so much presence. Having donated free tickets to a handful of Glasgow’s youths on the night, they had already won some hearts before they took to the stage – and while they were up there they’d made a whole load of new fans and had everyone in Audio stand up and take note, myself included.
