Start Static are my two year old son’s favourite band. You could call it good parenting, but I know it’s just simply down to the fact that they’re an amazing band who can create songs that stick in your head. With their catchy guitar hooks, solid rhythm and anthems lyrics – what’s not to love?? Friday night also became an interactive night where I became the fifth member of the band to help a hapless Steve “Tap” Murray replacer his guitar strap (albeit back to front at first) mid-song towards the end of another unstoppable set.
