Folky, punk and proud – the three words I’d elect to use in order to describe Losing Ground. The band, hailing from Ayrshire, are a five-piece with a knack for bringing acoustic and electric instruments in line to produce thought-provoking tracks. Providing more than a fair share of punch and drive, they brought an decent “away support” to Glasgow to share in the musical delights on offer.
