There aren’t many words to describe just how much of a pleasure it was to be part of the packed crowd inside Stereo last night to witness a truly breathtaking set from the most energised band around – Arcane Roots. In what was only my second AR gig, I was expecting much of that same enthusiasm shown a few months earlier in King Tuts. What they brought this time was over and above that as well as the inclusion of a live rendition of Slow Dance – a song that is powerful on print but absolutely poetic and head-stompingly good live.
